Mediabank integrations

Connect your WIPS mediabank to the tools your editors already use. Download a plugin below, install it, and start inserting media without leaving your editor.

WordPress plugin

Browse your mediabank and insert images or videos directly into posts and pages. Works with the block editor (Gutenberg), Elementor, and Divi, plus import straight into the WordPress Media Library.

Install instructions
  1. Download the .zip above.
  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the file.
  3. Activate WIPS Mediabank Picker.
  4. Open Settings → WIPS Mediabank and enter your WIPS host URL and mediabank page ID (find both on your WIPS site under Settings → Integrations).
  5. Future updates appear automatically under WP Admin → Plugins.

Microsoft Office add-in

PowerPoint & Word

Browse your mediabank and insert images straight into slides and documents — in the Office web apps, and tenant-wide via Microsoft 365 deployment.

The Office add-in is linked to a specific mediabank, so each WIPS site provides its own ready-to-install manifest. Open your WIPS site under Settings → Integrations to get the manifest URL for your mediabank, then follow the steps below.

Install instructions
  1. Org-wide (recommended): in the Microsoft 365 admin center, open Settings → Integrated apps → Upload custom apps and provide your manifest URL.
  2. Single user (testing): in PowerPoint or Word on the web, open Insert → Add-ins → Upload My Add-in and upload the manifest file.
  3. Open the WIPS → Mediabank button on the Home tab to start browsing.
  4. Requires a Microsoft 365 account.
